Selected papers of George W. Smith, 1875-1946.

This collection of papers of George W. Smith consists of correspondence, certificates and diplomas, programs of events in which Smith participated, newspaper clippings, and advertisements for two of Smith's books: A Student's History of Illinois, 1925; and When Lincoln Came to Egypt, 1940. Also included are periodicals containing articles by and about Smith, some of which are obituaries. Included in the correspondence are letters from Adlai E. Stevenson.
